Introduction
The Valley Driving School
(VDS) is a small, personalised
venture whose primary goal is to guide the Learner Driver from L-Plates to
P-Plates (Probationary Licence) in a safe, educative, affable and efficient
manner. Flexibility throughout the entire process of learning to drive remains
at the forefront of the operations: from driving hours, location, getting
through the 120 hours of supervised driving, and anything else in the driving
experience between L-Plates to P-Plates.
VDS covers the greater Latrobe Valley region. This includes the
nearby surrounding towns and areas (see map) of: Churchill; Morwell; Traralgon;
Moe/Newborough; Yallourn North; Tyers; Erica/Rawson; Glengarry; Yinnar;
Boolarra; and Mirboo North. We operate during the day and the night (weekdays
and weekends) by arrangement. Such flexibility permits driving experience in a
wide range of environmental and road conditions. Through VDS you can, where appropriate, tailor the instructional program to
suit your particular needs.
VDS offers instruction in both automatic and manual cars, each fitted
with dual controls – this, as you will immediately appreciate, helps ensure a
higher degree of safety. Cars are maintained to a professional standard.
One of the special services VDS
offers is the Supervised Driving
Program where, at a very favourable rate, you can drive the car in your
quest to accumulate the necessary minimum 120 hours (as demanded by Vic Roads)
of driving practice before sitting your actual Vic Roads driving test. It is a
program that can be readily adjusted to accommodate your particular
circumstances.
Assistance and guidance in understanding the theoretical aspects
of the Learner Driver experience is carefully given and measured, ensuring that
you, the learner driver derive confidence and competence appropriately.
Throughout the entire learning process, VDS endeavours to display all the professionalism one would
typically expect from any tuition/instructional service. To this end, VDS is a full member of the Australian Driver Trainer’s Association
(Vic) with all the necessary insurances.
